Wagnerail Mounting Brackets

  • Designed for use with Wagner Slotted Cap Rail sections.
  • No welding or special tools.
  • Unique expansion connector – patent pending – is inserted
    into the Cap Rail slot. Once the two set screws are fully tightened, the bracket is locked into place

  1. Mark the location of the wall mount brackets on your wall.
  2. Use screws to fasten the wall mount bracket mounting plate to wood blocking or wall studs. Otherwise, use appropriate
    fasteners as determined by your particular mounting condition – i.e. hollow wall fasteners or masonry
    anchors.
  3. Loosely fasten the brackets to the wall.
  4. Place the Cap Rail on the wall mount expansion bracket and adjust the brackets to the wall. Prior to securing,
    verify the fit of all joints and seams.
  5. Once all joints and dimensions have been confirmed, tighten all screws.
  6. Move Snap-On Cover into position and apply pressure to the flange to lock it onto the wall bracket mounting plate.

Refer to page 150 for Post Mount Brackets with a standard mounting saddle for non-illuminated pipe railing.
  1. Dry assemble all components to confirm fit and dimensions prior to final assembly.
  2. For adhesive connection to the post:
    1. Apply adhesive to the inside wall of the top of the post.
    2. Insert the Post Brackets into the posts.
    3. Confirm alignment by setting Cap Rail into place before adhesive sets.
  3. For set screw connection to the post:
    1. Drill and thread a 1/4"-20 hole 5/8" to center from the top of the post.
    2. Insert the Post Bracket into the post.
    3. Set Cap Rail into place to confirm alignment.
    4. Use the 1/4"-20 set screw – provided – to lock the Post Bracket into place.
  4. Once Cap Rail is in place, confirm alignment and tighten the two set screws on the underside of the expansion connector.

SLOTTED TUBE INSERT
This insert is useful in closing up gaps between Light Sticks, Brackets and Mounting Clips within the Cap Rail slot. Apply silicone sealant/adhesive to interior of channel on slotted Cap Rail and insert as required.

Wagnerail Stainless Steel System

WAGNERAIL™ CAST FITTINGS SLOTTED TUBE TEE

These cast stainless steel fittings are designed to permit weld-free assembly of Wagnerail™ systems with either 3form™ ecoresin® panels, glass panels or Archimesh™ wire infills. Components are joined to Cap Rail and posts using Epoxy.

The components are designed to match up with Wagner’s Slotted Cap Railing or Schedule 5 pipe when used in conection with Schedule 40 -.140" wall thickness - pipe posts.

The integrated internal connector sleeves are sized according to its mating tube/pipe – the vertical connector matches up with pipe size while the horizontal connector fits within thinner wall slotted tube or Schedule 5 pipe.

Use Epoxy for attachment.

RADIUS POST ELBOW TEE CONNECTOR
These elbows are used to transition the thinner walled Cap Rail or Schedule 5 pipe into a Schedule 40 pipe post. The vertical sleeve is also notched to permit use in Cable Rail applications.  

This versatile fitting may be used to create tee and cross connections between slotted tubing and pipe.

While heavy walled pipe may be threaded, Flowdrill may be used to create a threaded receiver within thin-walled material.

The Wagnerail™ stainless steel system utilizes Wagner's Slotted Tubing to create a top and bottom capture for infill panels. All connections are mechanical for easy field installation. This product is under ongoing development.
Archimesh™ Stainless Steel
Pre-coped bottom rail attaches to post using a unique mounting bracket. Post has a Flowdrill hole for a strong mechanical connection.

Twenty-five years of constant innovation have made Banker Wire the premier manufacturer of pre-crimped wire cloth in North America.

Wire from carefully selected vendors is crimped on proprietary crimping machines using tooling designed and made on site. The crimped wire is then assembled on screen assembly looms designed and built by Banker Wire’s staff of engineers and machine builders.

There is total control of the manufacturing process. Exact openings, correct crimp style, dimensionally stable fabrics and complete lot to lot repeatability are all standard. There is a constant array of new specifications being developed – if you don’t see it, ask. Whether the quantity of material is large or small, we have the equipment and techniques to insure maximum value.

Glass Railing Panel Mounting Brackets

PANEL CLIPS
This selection of Panel Clips is used in the installation of railing infill panels. Panel Clips are available for use with 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" glass, mesh or solid panels. When used in a vertical mount, provide holes to match up with the security pins on the Panel Clips below to keep the glass or panel from sliding down over time.
GLASSGRIP™
GlassGrip™ is perfect for all guardrail applications requiring a 1/4" infill panel – stainless steel GlassGrips include a second set of screws for use with 3/8" glass. The GlassGrip tightening system utilizes solid rubber O-rings that hold the glass panels as they securely grip and prevent sliding. The optional support pin fits through a pre-drilled hole in the glass for added support. Mounting hardware is not included.
Brass and Stainless Steel GlassGrips may be used with 1/4" or 3/8" glass using the screws that are provided.
