R&B Wagner Acquired ENPROCON Inc.
Late last month R&B Wagner, an employee-owned company, acquired ENPROCON Inc.—a longstanding manufacturer and sole supplier of ENDURALL™ Stainless Steel Junction and Device Boxes located in Barron, WI. R&B Wagner determined the acquisition of ENPROCON’s various assets would fit well with its manufacturing capabilities and drive further growth opportunities for R&B Wagner.
“ENPROCON’s ENDURALL brand is a perfect fit for who R&B Wagner is today and where we want to go in the future,” said R&B Wagner’s President, Michael Dover. “The ENDURALL brand of enclosures extends R&B Wagner’s potential into other critical and required electrical applications outside of illumination.”
Like R&B Wagner, ENPROCON’s owner Boyd L. McEwen has been in the stainless steel fabrication business for decades providing high-quality, innovative solutions for his customers. Boyd L. McEwen founded ENPROCON in 2007, and has run and operated the company for the last 13 years alongside his wife and business partner, Ann. The McEwens are confident R&B Wagner will continue to sell, develop and successfully market their premium products.
“R&B Wagner shares the same values that focus on maintaining high-quality workmanship, and customer service relations and satisfaction,” said Boyd McEwen. “I hope to see R&B Wagner expand the exposure of our products into various new market sectors.”
“ENPROCON had developed a premium, high-quality stainless steel enclosure family of products which perfectly fit R&B Wagner’s vision for our market position,” said Dover. “The technology acquired—including a wire-fed, robotic TIG welder—extends our manufacturing capabilities and efficiency significantly.”
R&B Wagner’s CEO Bob Wagner sees great potential with this acquisition and relationship with McEwen. “When our leadership team met with owner Boyd McEwen, we knew he was an individual we could understand and work with,” said Wagner. “This isn’t a one and done relationship—we look forward to future cooperative opportunities with Boyd.”
